On this month’s wallpaper you will find tiny daisies, billy balls and tulipsthree of my favorite flowers. I loved to go out finding which fields were full of these red flowers and photograph them. Take a drive through the country side a bit north of Venice, go exploring and find a great spot to see an amazing view like a field of red flowers towered by tall mountains. Happy May Now that spring is in full bloom (yep, pun intended) I thought it was appropriate to continue with the floral theme and bring cheerful flowers to this month’s wallpaper too. This also means they can change which fields they are between years. They only last a few weeks because they usually cover fields used for other crops by the farmers. In North-East Italy, in view of the Dolomites, fields of poppies pop up all over in fields dotting the countryside during the month of May. This one is different, I chose a close up to really appreciate the details of the poppy. I know last year I also did my May calendar featuring poppies but to me they just say MAY! I love the poppy fields that would bloom every May. May’s photo featuring a beautiful Italian Poppy!
